The School of Planning, Public Policy and Management is celebrating the recognition of one of the school's alumnus. His Excellency H. E. Talal bin Sulaiman al Rahbi, the Sultanate of Oman’s Ambassador to the Federative Republic of Brazil, '04 MPA, and '17 PPPM Awards Distinguished Alumnus, was recognized with the prestigious Juscelino Kubitschek Medal of Honour.
Juscelino Kubitschek (JK) was a prominent politician in Brazil, having served in a myriad of different capacities including as the twenty-first president, and serves as the namesake of the prestigious award. Conferred by the Brazilian Academy for Influential Personalities, this award is a reflection of H E Rahbi's effort to enhance the integration and cooperation between Oman and Brazil.
