In Katie’s classroom, you can expect an engaging, applied-learning experience rooted in real‑world practice. Katie focuses on helping students build practical skills they can immediately use in the workplace—aiming for those moments when a student can confidently say, “I used something from class at work.” She encourages honest conversations about the realities of nonprofit and public service environments, guiding students in how to navigate challenges and contribute to meaningful change.
